What is an electronic health record (EHR)?
An electronic health record is the digital version of a patient medical history. The DYR Systems EHR brings demographics, history, consultation notes, diagnoses, treatments, studies and billing together in one place accessible from the browser.
What does multi-tenant mean in this system?
It means several clinics or practices can operate on the same platform while keeping their data completely separate. Each organization has its own configuration, users, roles and permissions, and no tenant can access another tenant information.
Does it integrate with the Costa Rica National Registry?
Yes. The system can look up people in the National Registry to autocomplete patient demographic data from the national ID number, which reduces typing errors when registering new patients.
Does it include electronic invoicing?
Yes. The EHR integrates Costa Rica electronic invoicing, so billing a consultation produces receipts that are valid before the Ministry of Finance without leaving the patient record.
How is patient information protected?
Data is stored with per-tenant isolation and role-based access control, so each user only sees the information relevant to their role within the clinic. Clinical files are kept in secure storage.
Does it send appointment reminders to patients?
Yes. The scheduler generates automatic email reminders and synchronizes with external calendars through CalDAV, which helps reduce appointment no-shows.
