What is RestaurantPOS?
RestaurantPOS is a point-of-sale system built by DYR Systems specifically for restaurants and bars. It brings order taking, the table map, kitchen tickets, cash control and sales reports together in a single application.
Does it work with thermal printers?
Yes. RestaurantPOS prints kitchen tickets and customer receipts on standard thermal printers, and lets you configure which printer receives each menu category, for example separating the hot kitchen from the bar.
Which devices can it run on?
It is optimized for a desktop computer at the register and a tablet for table-side ordering, and it supports keyboard shortcuts for the most frequent operations. The interface is responsive, so it adapts to the available screen size.
Can it control cash per shift?
Yes. The system handles cash register opening and closing per shift, records cash movements and generates a closing report detailing sales by payment method for end-of-day reconciliation.
Does it integrate with Costa Rica electronic invoicing?
Yes. RestaurantPOS can connect to the DYR Systems electronic invoicing system to issue electronic tickets and invoices in compliance with Ministry of Finance regulations.
